How far is your fork from our porc?

February 19, 2024

Love pork? Want to support local farmers and enjoy the best quality, taste, and variety of pork products? Want to discover new ways to cook and enjoy pork, and learn more about the industry?

If so, you will love our new campaign: How far is your fork from our porc?

This spring we want to help you find and source your pork locally, wherever you are in Wales, and help you buy from the amazing producers in Wales who are passionate about their craft and their animals. Whether you are looking for fresh cuts, sausages, bacon or ham, you will be able to find a local supplier to you using our interactive producer map.

From the coastal towns of Pembrokeshire to the mountainous terrain of Gwynedd, the lush valleys of Denbighshire to the rugged beauty of Anglesey, Porc Blasus is in abundance all over Wales.

By buying local pork, you are not only supporting the local economy and the environment, but also your own health and well-being. Pork is a versatile and nutritious meat that is rich in protein, iron, zinc and B vitamins, and can be enjoyed in many ways, from roasts to stir-fries, pies to salads, as part of a healthy balanced diet.
