Why and where you can buy

In Wales, we do things differently. Our farms are small scale and specialised. They’re steeped in tradition which dates back hundreds of years and is passed on from generation to generation of farmer. Our landscape is rich and strong in its identity. Our pigs are generally reared in small herds. And our farmers have visionary yet traditional values.

The best bangers in Wales

We set out for the fifth time in 2023 to find the best bangers Wales had to offer with our Put Your Best Sausage Forward competition.

Made with the skill and creativity the industry in Wales is lauded for, sausages were sent in from all over Wales using different spices, herbs, and flavours to make them delicious and unique.

Only three producers made the final shortlist, and you can see how the final day at the Royal Welsh Show went by watching here…

A match made in heaven

Back in 2022, we joined forces with broadcasters Sam and Shauna (of Hang Fire fame) and rugby legend Scott Quinnell for an exclusive Porc Blasus video masterclass.

They cooked up some BBQ porc tomahawks, served with Sam and Shauna’s mouth-watering West Indian salsa verde and grilled potato steaks.

Watch the video and see how Scott handled this culinary challenge.

Did he pass as a porc pro or did he get a prop-er grilling…?
